I am a maternal health advocate, postpartum care specialist, and executive leader with more than 15 years of experience in project management, marketing, healthcare operations, and finance. My career bridges the gap between corporate leadership and holistic healing, blending strategy, structure, and soul-centered care to improve the lives of women, families, and workplaces.
For over 10 years, I have served as a Board-Certified Alternative Medicine and Natural Health Practitioner, with advanced training and certifications in maternal health, postpartum recovery, doula support, herbal medicine, nutritional consulting, energy healing, womb wellness, trauma-informed care, and holistic health practices. My academic foundation and executive experience fuel a deep passion for nourishing communities through physical health, emotional wellness, and preventative care. I am also an children's book author.
My calling is rooted in supporting women through the most vulnerable and transformational seasons of their lives—especially after childbirth. I specialize in postpartum healing, mental health support, hormone balance, lactation support, pelvic floor health, and emotional recovery. This is not just my profession; it is my purpose.
Through my nonprofit work, I am dedicated to saving the lives of women of color by addressing maternal health disparities, advocating for equitable access to postpartum care, and creating culturally responsive healing spaces. Black women in the U.S. are three to four times more likely to die from pregnancy-related causes than white women, and nearly 60% of pregnancy-related deaths are considered preventable. I believe every mother deserves safe, supported, and dignified care.
As a mother who has personally experienced childbirth and the postpartum journey, I understand how deeply it affects a woman’s identity, career, and capacity to function in the workplace. Research shows that nearly 1 in 5 working mothers experience postpartum depression or anxiety, yet many return to work within 6–12 weeks after birth, often before full physical or emotional recovery. More than 50% of working mothers report difficulty balancing career demands with postpartum recovery, leading to burnout, reduced productivity, and health complications when support is not in place.
These lived and professional experiences led me to create a mission centered on helping new mothers rebuild their strength, restore their confidence, and successfully reintegrate into the workforce while navigating the emotional and physical changes of motherhood. I provide postpartum coaching, return-to-work planning, corporate maternal wellness training, holistic recovery programs, and one-on-one support for women who want to heal fully without sacrificing their professional goals.
My mission is to protect mothers, empower women, reduce maternal mortality, and transform postpartum care by creating systems of support that honor both a woman’s health and her career. Through evidence-informed practices and holistic care, I work to ensure that no mother has to choose between her wellness and her future.
